About the SpeakerI have served as an instructional designer at the Office of Online & Digital Education since 2014. My responsibilities include collaborating with faculty on the effective use of instructional design strategies, web-based resources, multimedia technologies, and instructional software and systems to improve online teaching. In addition, I assist faculty in developing strategies for evaluating learning outcomes for online, blended, and technology-enhanced courses. I have worked in higher education and/or adult learning--developing and teaching online and traditional courses in education at The University of Akron and The University of Findlay, as well as working in instructional design at Kent State University and for a Fortune 500 Company in Cleveland.
